Stauséi

The “Stauséi” is a large water reservoir in the north of Luxembourg. Being the biggest body of water in the country, it serves as a vast recreational area with people of all walks of life swimming, relaxing, sailing or canoeing.

I visited the Stauséi at the height of summer in August 2026. As luck would have it, the vegetation around the lake was not struck by the draught as heavily as other parts of the country. It served as a lush backdrop for a few pictures documenting a typical summer day at the lake.
